Yes, with three little girls...even SNOW can wear bling!

So, upon my daughter's request, we brought in a few snowballs and dumped them into bowls.  Then came the drops of food coloring.  The girls stabbed their bamboo skewers into the snow and broke up the snow as the color diffussed through the snowflakes.  It's amazing how millions of tiny snowflakes come together to form the quintessential winter play medium.

Drop in another food color and mix together to see what color results.
Now, for the bling...

Glitter Snow.

What a fun idea! We were visiting family this weekend & my girls were making little round flat "cookies" out of the snow & feeding them to my sister's dog. My oldest then informed me they were feeding him "Snow-bake cookies!" Would have been even more awesome if they had been colored like this! What a great idea! :)
